Luard Ogma Build G-era

by modernwolf40

My personal build on luard, works well on calling units and entire columns.

Specialized for Building ritual fast.
GRADE 3
[Dragfall]
So i can retire one of them if i want to phantom, or ogma

[Dragheart]
Dragheart is secondary since this deck is good in calling units during the mainphase and you would rather retire one of them, than call two of your own.

[Subjugate]
Subjugate is weird for some, but he is perfect for me cause whenever i go into him, i can call a bellial owl or a semias. I will explain the combos later in the description.
___
Grade 2
I run 2 dagdas since my deck doesn't focus on dragabyss as much, since i would only go into abyss on mainly four situations
1. I'm desperate to call units
2. My opponent has too many units on his field.
3. I can produce a ritual 12 on my second stride( yes this deck normally does that)
4. I want to wear out my opponent's perfect and G-guard to setup for my other strides.

[Slaptail], well I've been thinking about whether i should run 3 or 4 so i can make more for morfessa. but most late game in my matchups, the trouble that i encounter mostly is that i dont have any more grade 1's in my deck that i can call. so yeah, but the main reason why i run him is just for him being considered as a grade 1.

[Morfessa]
I like running 3 on morfessa just because she has this on hit ability, which makes her an even better dagda. cause if she manages to hit, the go-to call would be a semias. ill call that semias on top of morfessa, and ill call another column using that semias, which is bs on a dragabyss turn. morfessa also counts as a grade 1 on drop, overall she's a very important card in this deck, the only downside of this is it's own upside which is her being an on-hit ability.

[Dagda] Because Dagda. But can be replaced by naoise so you can combo it semias.
____
GRADE 1
[Fuamnach]
Fuamnach because 14k beatstick, oh and she also has resist. Trust me i won so many matchups on my kagero friend just because they can't pull a denial on her on my dragabyss/ultima turn.

[Daellad] i only run 1 since my deck isnt that focused on drawing, its more on calling from semias

[Sword breaker] just in case you wanna get greedy on your Aurageyser Doomed turn. (so you can soulblast a grade 1 and retire this unit for doomed, which will ultimately lead you to setting up 2 grade 1's in your drop.

[Abyssal Owl]
Because you only run 5 luards in a 50 card deck.

[Semias]
I would run 3, but this is my key card in this build. Semias is good for calling out whole fields, or raven, which will call more ill explain the combos later.

[Esras]
Because broken pg. Will explain combos later.

__
Grade 0

[Bellial Owl]
Basically because of the draw engine, and the fucker being able to be recycled is crazy scary in the late game.

[Cursed Eye Raven]
Good for setting up on place cards from the deck. Best used with bellial and Semias. Also scary in late game since it can be recycled. Raven is overall a core in this deck and there are a lot of things you can benefit from it's auto retire-by-end-of-turn skill. (fills up the ritual pretty fast)

[Heal]
y not.

[Crits]
Why not stand? Cause as i said before, i dont focus on the dagda gameplay as i will mostly stride on ogma, and most of the time, setting up a good ogma on your first - second stride will fuck people's handcards and force them to no guard.

COMBOS

So I'll start with the simple and common ones.

1. Raven to bellial owl.
By the chance that your raven calls a bellial owl, and , let's say a daellad. use the daellad skill and draw one. After that, if you're going to retire one of them for a skill, per se Esras proc. Retire the daellad, since by the end of the turn Bellial owl will be retired... From the rear guard circle, which will still proc the draw. so you got the earlier grade 1 daellad to be on the dropzone and that's important on some cases.

2.Raven to Semias.
Calling a semias using raven is good since it'll proc semias' skill and you can call standing units with it. I'll explain semias combos later.

3.Raven to subjugate dragon. Subjugate dragon is nice since he lets you pick a card from the deck, instead of just relying on luck. Use that to call a semias, during your ogma turn, you would either want to have as much grade 1 on your field. OR call as much on your field. since you just retired 5 grade 1's from your own field and you have to fill up your ranks asap.

Say- zero rear guards. call a raven, that raven calls a bellial (refer to combo 1 cough cough) and a subjugate dragon, use the subjugate dragon to call a semias. then use the semias to call for more ranks.

4.Subjugate Dragon to Semias
As I've said when you dont have rear guards just after you did your ogma turn, use subjugate to call a semias, and that semias will call 2 more. in conclusion, calling a subjugate ensures 3stood units on your field.

5.Semias to Subjugate Dragon
An even broken version of combo #4 since if you called a subjugate with semias, you get to call another subjugate, which will get you another semias. And that means you get to have 4 rear guards while dropping one card at the cost of two counterblasts.

6. Semias to Raven
You're gonna rest the raven, because everything semias calls, including itself will die, and you dont want your raven in your dropzone a little too early. And yeah, you get the chance of calling a semias on your raven. AGAIN, COMBO#2.

also the things you call can go on top of grade 1s that are already present on the field so you can build ritual.

7.Semias to Bellial
- refer to combo#1

8. Morfessa to Semias
On dragabyss turn, this is basically Dagda on steroids IF IT HITS.
but then again everything you call on this deck basically dies and that's a lot of grade 1's on your dropzone and you hit pretty high ritual counts even if it's still early. Not to mention you retire a lot of grade 1's if you use ogma.
ANYWAYS, since morfessa is an on hit ability, you can call on top of morfessa unlike dagda. and you get to call another column cause of semias.
